A Full-Stack Software Engineer is needed at Summit and Research.
Details
The engineer will work for a hospitality client to develop and launch products that are useful for the Safari Industry across Kenya.
The
engineer will work closely with the general manager, product director,
and other colleagues to implement program features within the allocated
time frame.
Responsibilities
1. Enhance in-beta features, addressing bugs, and optimizing.
2. Review existing infrastructure, following best practices.
3. Automate CI/CD pipeline.
4. Deploy to test and live environments.
5. Secure and maintain data/software systems for beta products.
6. Assist end-users as needed.
7. Contribute to feature development direction in meetings.
Qualifications
1. 3+ years full-stack dev experience.
2. Proficient in Java and OOP (Object Oriented Programming).
3. Familiarity with MEAN/MERN or similar JS frameworks.
4. AWS expertise (S3, EB, Route 53, Pipeline, etc).
5. Skilled in MongoDB (Atlas) or other NoSQL databases.
6. CI/CD pipeline experience in commercial source control.
7. Proficient in diverse APIs and protocols (including WebRTC).
Job Details
Gross Salary / Month: Ksh. 165,000
Location: Nairobi, Kenya.
