The company is seeking to recruit a professional analyst for a contract period. Below is the summary of the of the position.

Summary

Position: Analytics Specialist (3-Month Contract)

Role Purpose: As an analytics specialist, you'll manage data from various sources, providing data-driven insights to departments and developing organization-wide reports.

Responsibilities:

The employee will be responsible for the following functions.

• Analyzing data to support departmental and business objectives.
• Identifying trends and insights in complex data.
• Creating reports/dashboards for executives, team leads, and end-users.
• Using tools like Microsoft Power BI and SSRS.
• Documenting customer processes and reporting needs.
• Integrating new analytics technologies.
• Providing Power BI support and expertise.
• Offering technical input to projects.

Key Competencies:

• Expert in Power BI knowledge.
• Expertise in Power BI Desktop and related tools.
• Familiarity with Power BI Prep is a plus.
• Understanding of data visualization principles.
• Data analysis skills with pattern recognition.
• Ability to perform calculations and generate fields in Power BI.
• Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying.
• Experience in designing user-friendly dashboards.
• Problem-solving abilities.
• Data preparation expertise.

Qualifications:

The applicant will be required to have a:

• Degree in Business Management, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, or Finance.

Relevant Experience:

• 3-4 years in a similar role.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools like Power BI and Tableau.
• Experience in defining business metrics.
• Ability to use numeric data for business cases.
